A few months ago I got an inquiry from a lovely bride who was planning her wedding from afar. When she told me about her venue I got really excited because it was being held at Moonstone Manor. Moonstone Manor is located just outside of Elizabethtown, PA and is drop dead gorgeous! The grounds are beautiful and the manor itself is a historical dream. There are many options for an indoor/outdoor ceremony and reception sites that can accommodate up to 250 guests.
I had the pleasure to work with Moonstone Manor in September, and I will continue to recommend them to any couple still on the hunt for a venue to display their love for local history and romance.
For the couple, Moonstone Manor was definitely the perfect venue as they were able to host their intimate wedding with a beautiful ceremony outside at the Victorian Gazebo and then hold a private dinner in one of two amazing dining rooms in the manor. Before the ceremony the sunroom provided the perfect lighting and backdrop for some bridal details. After the ceremony we had so many options for photos and had the perfect backdrop. Also, they do allow outside catering but our couple used the in-house caterer and the food was amazing. The staff who were there on the day delivered service in a big way and I was grateful to work with wonderful people on my first visit to the venue.
